Your Role:

As our Assistant Practice Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the Practice Manager and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Responsibilities:

  • Team Support: Foster strong working relationships among staff, assist with recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Operational Excellence: Monitor and ensure key performance metrics are met, forecast results, manage budgets, and ensure financial records are balanced.
  • Patient & Staff Interaction: Efficiently respond to patient and doctor needs, ensure quality dental care, and maintain a customer-ready environment.
  • Scheduling & Administration: Manage staff schedules, assist with HR and payroll documentation, and ensure accuracy in time sheets.
  • Communication: Conduct regular staff meetings and daily huddles to keep the team informed and engaged.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve patient issues in line with company policies and perform additional tasks as needed.
  • Marketing & Promotion: Assist with marketing activities, act as a media liaison, and support practice promotion efforts.
  • Training & Development: Learn from the Practice Manager, participate in educational opportunities, and stay updated on industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: At least one year in a dental or related field, with 2-3 years of supervisory/management experience in a dental or similar setting.
  • Skills: Knowledge of dental terminology, office procedures, insurance plans, and MS Office 365. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead, train, and communicate effectively with staff and patients.
