An established Asheville company is looking for a detailed, friendly, fast-paced Sales Assistant to support their offices and their customers. If you have a passion for helping people and working with an incredible team, this job could be for you!
Job duties included but are not limited to:
o Answer and respond to incoming phone calls and customers.
o Source new sales opportunities through walk-in customers.
o Help support with home buyers process – pick out colors, cabinets, flooring, etc.
o Entering and/or updating customer files.
o Perform data entry, typing, or filing.
o Perform a variety of clerical duties and other duties pertinent to the establishment.
o Possess excellent communication and grammar skills as well as a pleasant speaking voice.
Qualified candidates will have experience:
o Entering, reviewing, and processing paperwork
o Greeting and working with customers
o Providing support to customers
o Working in a construction environment
o Listening and directing customers
o Microsoft Office Suite
Preference given to candidates with prior construction experience and Microsoft proficiency.
Schedule is 40 hours a week Monday-Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm or 9am to 6pm. $18-$20/hr+ plus commission/bonuses and benefits once hired on permanently. Working Saturdays – at least 3 a month is required.
