About the Position

Responsibilities include a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks. These include diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with various trailer systems, and performing preventative maintenance and repairs on brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and lighting systems. Specialized tools, equipment, and techniques may be used, including welding and fabrication.

Responsibilities

•Perform routine inspections, diagnose issues, and conduct repairs on a variety of utility trailers.

•Repair and replace malfunctioning components, such as brakes, axles, suspensions, lighting, and wiring.

•Perform preventative maintenance tasks like lubrication, tire replacement, and adjustments.

•Utilize welding and fabrication techniques as needed.

•Maintain accurate records of all work performed.

•Communicate effectively with customers and team members.

•Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

•Prefered experience as a Trailer Mechanic or in a related field, also willing to train

•Knowledge of trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, and electrical components.

•Prefered experience with welding, fabricating, and using various hand and power tools.

•Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

•Valid driver's license 

•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with the job.
