Job Description: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented person as a Water Mitigation/Mold Remediation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing water extraction, drying, and mold remediation procedures in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of water damage restoration and mold remediation techniques, along with a commitment to delivering exceptional results.  We also do on the job training for those without experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency water damage situations promptly and efficiently
  • Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification using industry-standard equipment
  • Conduct thorough inspections and assessments to determine the extent of water damage and mold contamination
  • Execute mold remediation procedures in accordance with industry guidelines and regulations
  • Safely handle and dispose of contaminated materials and hazardous waste
  • Document all work performed and communicate findings to clients and project managers
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in water mitigation and mold remediation preferred but not a must
  • Certification in water damage restoration and mold remediation is a plus but not required
  • Strong knowledge of industry-standard equipment and techniques for water extraction and drying a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure and time-sensitive situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
