Server/Bartender

Bartender/Server

The Bartender makes and serves drinks following established guidelines, procedures, and policies for beverage and safety controls. They follow company standards and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors and intoxicated individuals. They interact with guests and staff in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner at all times.

Responsibilities:

Must be comfortable performing dual roles, including both table service and bar service

Efficient Time Management skills

Prepares drinks to order using specified portions and ingredients

Operates computer, handles money, distributes checks, and keeps accurate record of change transactions

Requisitions supplies, fruits, and beverages necessary to stock bar

Maintains a respectful work environment with guests and co-workers

Is trained in Alcohol Awareness Program

Assists in maintaining bar inventory

Maintains cleanliness behind bar, storage space, and equipment

Resourceful with all beverages, fruits, and supplies in order to maintain reasonable liquor cost

Maintains good customer relations in a courteous and professional manner

Maintains company standards and ensures beverage preparation is performed according to specified procedures and recipes

Maintains health and sanitation standards Performs special assignments or projects as requested

Qualifications:

Must be able to lift 25 pounds

Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, holidays

Must have the physical stamina to stand on feet throughout shift

This position involves a high degree of social skills and ability to perform work under pressure
